Program Safeguard Contractors

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contracts with two Program Safeguard Contractors (PSCs) to perform certain Benefit Integrity (BI) functions for Riverbend Government Benefits Administrator (RGBA) providers.

For more detailed information on PSCs, see the related fact sheet. RGBA is responsible for the distribution of provider educational materials for the two PSCs. We issue this material through our normal bulletin process and expect to have a Listserve for PSC information available July 1, 2003.
